His position unfolds and looks back up to the Northern Star as he waits the next couple of minutes for something to happen, for anything to arise, but nothing does. Just as he turns to turn and try to leave the balcony, defeat heavy in his stance, he is startled by a frog that must’ve hopped onto the railing as he was making his wish. After living in Louisiana for about eight years at this point, he had grown accustomed to the random frogs hopping along the street. He was close to a swamp, what else did he expect? He slumps back onto the railing and rests his hand in his hand. The frog is still staring at him, making him feel uncomfortable.
“What? You want a kiss or something, frog?” Julien tries to joke.
Surprisingly, the frog responds back, “I-I don't think that is necessary…”
