Tav was a virgin before she slept with Astarion, and though it eventually did mean something to him, she can't move past the fact that the first time - her first time - did not. Try as she might. When Gale steps in to pick up the pieces, she's deathly afraid of making the same mistake twice. However patient and caring he proves to be.
