Dragons were territorial. Dragons were possessive. Dragons were irritable. Dragons were often loud, and violent, and brazen. Before her resurrection, Falin had been decidedly none of those things, so it was very interesting—from a scientific standpoint—to observe first-hand the ways in which her emotions and values were shifting under the dragon’s influence.
From a personal standpoint, however, it was more than a little embarrassing to admit that she was burning hot with jealousy for a stupid freaking cat.
(Or, Izutsumi is only here for the pets, Falin misreads the situation, and Marcille has no idea why they can't just get along.)
