Summary
Hanahaki - a terminal disease where the roots of flowers entangle your lungs and suffocate you to death. First petals, and then entire flower-heads, are expelled from the mouth as the disease progresses. It is triggered by perceived rejection/unrequited feelings, and cured by reciprocal love. Surgery is available to remove the roots, but in doing so, you lose your feelings for the person causing the Hanahaki to flower inside you.
