The laugh burst out of Dante, unexpected and uncontrolled. He just couldn't help it! His lungs spasmed as they fought for air and, when he finally did suck in a breath, he coughed violently, then started laughing again. He laughed so hard that he overbalanced and tipped onto his side, splashing right into a pool of slush, his muscles still too tight from being curled up to react in time to save himself.
"Dante!" Vergil cried, sounding terrified, which just made Dante laugh harder.
Finally, after what felt like forever, he managed to spit out words between fits, "A… A therapist? You fuckin' serious?!" Cackling, he tried to get up, but his hand slipped on ice and he went down again. This time, he just stayed there, giggling in the dirty slush.
