Summary
Dante had a brother once, his name was Vergil. Born as twins, they were both separated by the fury and control of Mundus, in act of his vengeance against Sparda, who had sealed the border between human life and the demon realm. Until the age of 19, Dante had not seen his brother since the death of their mother, and the burning of their estate. Though he had to fight him, Dante truly wanted to save Vergil, yet he failed. Emerging from it, Vergil had died, reborn as a demon under Mundus’ control, Nelo Angelo. Now as a knight who serves, Nelo Angelo must fend off Dante from his master, in order to not be punished. As the devil hunter, Dante, must defeat this foe, who shares the face of his own perished brother.

Summary
For decades, May has buried the demonic power that killed her mentor, numbing its rage with a self-made poison to become a healer. Her life is a lonely, atoning prison, frozen in time.
That fragile world shatters when Vergil, broken and stripped of his power after escaping demonic imprisonment, falls from the sky. He sees her not as a savior, but as a tool—a descendant of his old rival, Arkham—and a key to reclaiming his strength. Their alliance is a dangerous game of manipulation and desperation, bound by a shared, painful legacy.
When Vergil reveals the truth about the sister May thought was lost, he shatters her apathy and gives her a reason to fight that has nothing to do with atonement and everything to do with blood. To reclaim her past, she must embrace the very power she swore to bury, while Vergil learns the path to strength may require confronting the one thing he despises: his own humanity.

Summary
There's making kids and there's having them. It is, surprisingly, not always the same thing. Add to that the fact that nobody ever managed to domesticate the older twin, and the younger is an absolute mess, this is going to be one hell of a trip.
Some of the oldest scars never had a chance to heal. A little book and a handful of words won't magically fix things, but that's okay. What they puzzle together from the collateral damage of the past might just be a whole lot nicer than anything "normal" out there could ever hope to be.

Summary
After the Qliphoth disaster Dante finds himself once more in hell, this time however with a certain someone as company. Having to redo that ordeal with Vergil around should mean it will be an easy trip, right? After all, there's nothing that could possibly challenge two Sons of Sparda at the same time!
Only, things are more complicated than they seem. Between his own hangups, a brother he sometimes barely knows and the underworld's sinister workings Dante should maybe start wondering if he'll make it back home at all.

Summary
After escaping from hell in one piece (sorta) and recovering Vergil from the clutches of madness, the call of a fragment of the Yamato and an apparently easy job takes both brothers to the city of Fortuna, where Vergil will have to face a part of his past he thought was forgotten... and the consequences of his actions, and Dante will discover there is much he doesn't know yet about his brother's past, linked to a conspiracy greater than they believed.
Note: for this fic's purposes, I have altered (increased?) Nero's age from what it should be considering the canon post DMC2. Don't murder me. Let's pretende time in hell flows differently.

Nota: para fines de este fic, he alterado (aumentado?) un poco la edad de Nero en relación con lo que debería ser según el canon post DMC2. No me linchen. Finjamos que el tiempo en el infierno fluye diferente

Summary
Vergil takes domestication slowly. There's so much for him to experience and learn about the human world- the half he's suppressed for so, so long. But when an illness takes root, one that drags him down into the depths of poorly repressed memories, he finds himself leaning on humanity's empathy.

Summary
Another root sprouting from the dirt almost sent Dante crashing face first on the ground. Vergil teleported right before his crumbling silhouette and the red twin landed on his older brother's back.
“Hold on to me.” Vergil said as his hands shifted to grab the back of the hunter’s knees.
“What? No, I can walk, I just…”
“You need to rest. So sleep and heal. I’ll walk.” He cut the red twin off as he pushed on his legs and stood up, carrying his brother on his back.
“It’s not fair.” He protested softly but his arms shifted to wrap around his neck, his head resting on his shoulder.
“Life isn’t fair, Dante.” Vergil hummed.
“One day I’ll give you a piggyback ride too, so we’ll be even.” The hunter huffed groggily and the blue twin could feel him relax.
“Over my dead body.” Vergil scoffed, rolling his eyes at his nonsense.
__________
After the events of DMC5 Dante and Vergil are stuck in the Underworld.
Dante is sick and needs to go back to the Human World, but Vergil can't follow him there. No matter how much he wants to.
The harsh truth is that Dante is not the only one who is sick, but the blue half-devil can't let his little brother know that. -

Summary
"I… Find myself troubled by our lives. By my life, and it's effect upon you, I suppose. Though we are siblings, I… I have treated you rather terribly, haven't I? I would like to apologize for that. For… my foolishness." Vergil spoke slowly, carefully picking his words one by one as they filled the shop and that deafening silence. Vergil felt his tongue press into the uneven, crooked line of his bottom teeth as he tried to hide the way his voice pitched in the face of his confession. It was ridiculous, feeling this afraid. What did he have to worry about? Dante had forgiven much worse people than Vergil in his lifetime, surely that would hold true towards his own brother? Yet, something about the way Dante sat there in silence drove him insane. It was as if Vergil's entire body was frozen in time, his throat tight and his fingers gripping the sleeves of his coat as his arms remained folded. He began to feel nervous, afraid that Dante would turn him away.
Or worse, that Dante would laugh at him. He wasn't sure he could handle that.

Summary
Dantes thoughts were indiscernible. Every sentence weaved into the next, every word merged with another, every letter flicked with accents that shouldn't be there.
It felt blazingly, intimately familiar to when he got knocked into that month-long coma by Urizen. And Dante would be lying if he said it was unpleasant.
------
TLDR; Dante isn't well. He doesn't cope.
