    The Murderbot Diaries, re-told from Dr. Mensah's POV. Features rewrites of scenes from the books, my interpretations of missing scenes from the books, and takes on what Dr. Mensah was doing off-screen.

    Demo & Inspection: Pre-ASR one-shot exploring the missing scene mentioned in ASR and AC where Dr. Mensah sees Murderbot's face for the first time when PresAux tries to get out of renting a SecUnit.

    I shouldn't take it personally that everyone loved Three. It was just better than me. At everything: Kicking my ass, not being a pile of anxiety, getting along with humans... just, everything.
    It was fine. It was fine, right?
    So if it was fine, the problem wasn't with being a SecUnit, the problem was with me. I didn't like that and I definitely didn't want to talk about it.

    A short story about SecUnit seeing how well Three is doing, and what that must mean about itself. Get cared for, idiot.
