“Tastes great!” Rover says enthusiastically. Then turns a little red because he didn’t realise he would sound that eager. Luuk grins amused at him.
“Is that so? I’m glad to hear that. It seems my little experiment worked out. I was quite confident about the lemon juice. After all, that golden shade is the one I know too well. You can tell the balance of sweet and sour at a glance,” Luuk says teasingly while his eyes never leave Rover.
“Hmm, maybe I can try this approach with other desserts and dishes. Would you be my official taste tester?” Luuk asks while he rests his chin on his hand, as if he enjoys toying with the other. A slick grin covers his lips as he waits for an answer.
