Summary
“Who did this to you?” Katsuki says, firmer, when Shouto just tries to sniffle more quietly. He doesn’t—he doesn’t want to be a burden. He doesn’t want to be like this. Weak and pathetic and ravenous for affection. For someone to hold him, because he’s tired of trying to stand on his own.
“Katsuki,” he says pitifully. He hears it. He hates it. The raw neediness in his voice, how ready to crumble at the slightest touch he feels. “Katsuki, I’m—it’s really cold.”
And in a blink, Bakugou Katsuki, the same person who stress-vacuums on the regular and threatened to kick Shouto out for eating cake on the couch when they first moved in together, drops his grocery bags carelessly to the floor, and wraps himself around Shouto’s trembling body like the world’s most comforting, bulkiest octopus.
“It’s okay,” he whispers, pressing a kiss to the top of Shouto’s head. “I’m here, baby.”
And—
Oh.
Or: Shouto gets hit by a quirk on duty, and Katsuki picks up the pieces.

“Usually I use my nest to relax and recharge. I’ll lay down and take a nap sometimes. Katsuki joins me a lot of the time too because he helps calm me down and we cuddle.” Ei explains with a blush on his face.
“Hm. Could we try cuddling? Would that be ok?” Shouto asks and Ei turns to look at Katsuki.
