Clarke sat with a tilt of her head, sighing ever so slightly before crossing her legs as she watched her subjects leave in a hurry. When the door finally closed behind them, she lifted an eyebrow and gestured for her attendant to speak.
“Forgive the intrusion, but I have been given word that an object has fallen into Trikru land. Right outside the borders of TonDC.”That gained Clarke’s attention and she leaned forward, more interested in the conversation than before. Her lips curved.
“Where did it come from?”
“The sky.”

She chose to be outside. It was a wonder why no one else wanted to be outside, when all she ever wanted was to be outside in the brilliant white powder that made everything so quiet and peaceful and so very soothing - even if it was cold enough to numb her fingers. But with Clarke beside her, her hand entwined in hers, forgetting the cold was the easiest thing she could do.

“Either way,” says Anya. “You got hitched.” She got up and walked over to her sister, thrusting out her hand. “Give me your hand.” Lexa complied. “Your other hand, dumbass. I want to look at the ring.”
“Oh, me too!” Soon Raven sidled up beside Clarke, looking at the matching ring with excitement. Her face fell when she caught sight of it. “It’s kinda plain looking, don’tcha think? I always assumed you’d be a diamond kind of gal, Clarke.”
“Raven we were drunk when we got them.”
Anya ignored the exchange in favor of taking off Lexa’s ring and studying it, turning it around and looking at the writing that was inside. Without pausing, she took out her phone and dialed a number.
“What are you doing?”
“Calling the number to the chapel that’s engraved in this ring. You idiots bought cheap ass rings, look.” She gestured to Lexa’s hand. “You finger is fucking green.”
