Summary
A new bioweapon is terrorizing the Yucatan jungles in Mexico and Chris Redfield is being summoned to undertake a new task—training a specialized unit in combating bioweapons.At the same time, he comes across a groundbreaking serum in the making that could be a potential game-changer for humanity's survival.
As luck would have it, these two seemingly unrelated events would later coincide and Chris Redfield would have to work with a team of Mexican soldiers to solve the mysteries behind the attacks, as well as watching over the scientist behind the serum.

Jill Valentine has been having reoccurring dreams of the same woman every night for a couple of weeks now, but when she and her close friend and colleague Chris Redfield respond to a report of a body on the outskirts of town they find the woman from Jill’s dream. After they take her to the hospital, the woman wakes up and says her name is Starr, but the thing is…Starr doesn’t exist.

I am not associated with RESIDENTEVIL/BIOHAZARD in any way, shape, or form — I just really enjoy the lore, characters, and story it provides. This fic was based on the idea of someone getting trapped in a video game. Sort of a retelling? But also canon-divergent since this is my own interpretation.

Rumors speak of a cure that could destroy the bioweapons and with it, the Primal Mother. Many have died pursuing it, including the legendary Chris Redfield.
A distress call has led your team into an uncharted zone. As part of the North American Southeast Quadrant-3 Haven’s team, your mission is to assist in the extraction of survivors while securing the area. However, be warned—for new territory means new threats.
