"So, Bruce, have you...changed anything, recently?" Bruce had no idea what Clark could be referring to, especially not when he was asking with such a strained voice. He shot Diana a questioning look, only to find she was doing the same to him. No help there then. Best to be direct.
"Could you be more specific?"
Either Bruce was messing with Clark, or he really didn't know, neither of which were great options, Clark thought.
"Um, well... internally. Have you changed anything internally?"
Or: I wanted a superwonderbat mpreg fic where it comes out of nowhere, and what I felt was a semi realistic response.

“I’m pregnant.”
Clark nearly dropped his cup.
“Uh.. what was that?”
Bruce sighed. “I know you heard me. I’m pregnant. Three weeks.”
“You can’t just drop all that on me, B. I wasn’t ready.” Clark chuckled halfheartedly. His demeanor became serious. “..Are you sure?”
Bruce nodded, getting off the counter. “I found out yesterday.”
Clark was quiet, taking a slow sip of the coffee. Batman is pregnant. His best friend is pregnant.
(Or, Bruce ends up pregnant after a night of passion with a stranger and now has to deal with it all alone. Or at least that's what he thinks. His friends would do anything to make sure he was okay.)

Really, Bruce should have expected it to happen eventually.
Trapped in an alternate universe, stuck in a body much younger than he was before having his soul dragged somewhere it did not belong, he falls head first into the lives of gods, monsters, magic, and everything inbetween. Quite frankly, he just wants to go home to his family, glowstick of a boyfriend, and most importantly his dog.
Too bad souls from his world have started leaking into this one. It would be a disaster if he was the only one who could help.

Instead of lunging at him, the monster stumbled, as it tried to stand, and Clark saw as a child's leg slipped out of a big black boot before tangling in a yellow belt, small, very childish hands trying and failing to catch it. And maybe… And maybe it wasn't a monster at all, because as Clark watched, transfixed, the kid - because it had to be a kid, he didn't seem to be older than Clark- face planted on the floor without making even a single noise.
