Before they got together, before even he and Johnny got together, he had struggled with touch. He wanted it so badly. To feel the life beneath another person’s skin. To feel how they loved him from their touch alone. The strength of that desire scared him so much that he would avoid it as much as he could, worried he’d overstep and make people uncomfortable. Afraid he’d scare them with his intensity. That was before he allowed himself to accept that love. Before he finally realized he deserves it.

Johnny was everything Ghost wasn't. He was open, warm, and he loved– hard. He loved Gaz with his time. The two of them wreaking havoc on the rest of the team. He loved Price with his admiration and loyalty. And Ghost, he loved Ghost the hardest.
Ghost wasn't stupid. He knew Johnny loved him. He could see it in his eyes, the way he looked at the Lieutenant like he hung the moon. He could feel it in his touch that always lingered just a little longer than the last time. He could hear it in his voice when he joked and teased and flirted with him over the comms. Ghost knew Johnny loved him. Simon knew it too.
