He doesn’t know what he expected Kucherov to respond with, but he knows he never in a million years would have expected the words that come out of the veteran’s mouth.
“Hmmm, maybe that’s not the only A I want,” Kucherov leans forward to whisper quietly in Shane's ear, his hot breath tickling Shane's neck. “And maybe that’s not the only sucking I'll do”.

Shane Hollander was in their shared livingroom, crying.
Crying over what? His stupid ass dipshit of a boyfriend who could not help but pick him apart piece by piece, then leave him all alone, broken.
And Ilya Rozanov? He was the one comforting him, putting him back together like how his boyfriend should've been.
“Don’t cry, красивый, don’t cry because of him.. You are so pretty when you cry, he does not deserve to be the cause of your tears” and then Ilya tilts Shane’s chin up, so the two are making eye contact, and Shane’s eyes widened ever so slightly, his cheeks burned. He knew his face was pink.
The way Ilya was looking down at him like he was the only person in the world, like he was precious. Fuck, no one had ever made him feel so, special? Maybe? With just his eyes, it was so beautiful, so endearing.
Shane lost himself in Ilyas eyes, forgetting why they were even there in the first place.

“Mr. Rozanov. Mila is asleep, has been for about 45 minutes. Um. You’ve given me too much money again.” Shane said awkwardly, blushing as he did, “I uh– left it on the counter. My rate is $25 an hour. Just to... y’know, remind you–”
“I know.”
“Oh. Okay. Well that’s... good. Wait.. what?” Shane was really fucking tired and he was pretty sure that Rozanov just told him that he knew how much money Shane charged, knew that he was giving Shane way too goddamn much of it.
