"You look like you want something," he says instead, lips tilting into a smile. That expression on his face as though he knows something she doesn't. "You tell me what you want, and maybe I'll do it."
Stelle yearns, because Sampo is always there but never is all at once. The breath down her neck, the ghost on her back—yet, somehow, still out of reach, like sand between her fingers.
