Summary

Summary
Commander Shepard has always made it out of situations that seem impossible, but now, she's not so sure how she's going to tackle this multilateral mission. All she knows is that she has to do it, and she’s somehow going to make her crew work as a cohesive unit. Trillions of lives are on the line, and if she goes down, she’ll go down swinging.
Garrus Vakarian is sick and tired of being restricted by red tape, so when the opportunity of a lifetime comes along, he's quick to jump on it. He knows what the odds of success are, but there's something about Shepard that makes anyone want to follow her to hell and back, himself included.
Between stopping Saren, unlikely friendships forming, hidden (and not so hidden) enemies, and different agendas, this multispecies crew has their hands full. But they all know one thing: Shepard will see them through. Will it be enough to stop their impending doom?
**Focus is on what happens between missions, and on building friendships between the crew. Most will be canon, though things will be altered to what I feel fits the story and characters better. Alternating POV's between Shepard and Garrus). The characters(most of them) and story (most of it) belong to Bioware.
