Summary
Vox killed Alastor. Or at least he thought he did. But Alastor is back in town, he's hanging around, and Vox has never been more afraid. Valentino offers him a solution and a publicity stunt all in one: soul-binding marriage. Even Alastor's magic is no match for unholy matrimony.
Probably.

Fae Alastor has a serious problem, and is willing to do just about anything to fix it.
Dragon Vox is very unserious about Alastor's problems, and is far more interested in being the 'anything' that the pretty fae is 'do'ing.

Alastor has long since walled himself off to things like empathy or affection, having learned early on that such trust is only ever rewarded with pain. With his radio show doing exceedingly well, a new friend that shares in his special dietary delights, and his ever-looming debt close to being repaid, he has finally managed to claw his way out of the downward spiral that consumed his life for years. A downward spiral that started with Vox. But now that Vox is trying to force a reunion, all of his work threatens to crumble down around him. Can he play nice long enough to settle his debt, before everything falls apart? And... does he care that Vox's own world appears to be fraying at the seams? -

Three times Valentino was able to cheer Vox up, and one time he missed the signs.
(Vox suffers from Bipolar Disorder, and Valentino picks up the pieces as well as an evil, half-blind moth can.)
