Ridiculously careful, Vox combs his sharp claws through the red hair. Through the lush bangs, over the velvety soft ears folded back. Alastor doesn’t stir. His face turned away from him. Yet every now and then he blinks. Slowly, so slowly that Vox can almost believe he’s enjoying it.

Set after Vox and Alastor sang “Stayed Gone” (I honestly forgot which chapter that was, lol)
Vox returned to his bedroom seething with anger.
He wanted nothing more than to press that man’s face beneath his heel, to make him break—make him cry underneath him. The thought alone made his blood boil.
Still simmering with irritation, Vox went to bed.
When he woke up, he realized his right hand felt strangely numb.
And that was when he noticed it. Alastor?! …Wait.
Why did this Alastor feel a little different?

Trying to be a gentleman (Alastor likes those, right?) Vox keeps his hands to himself around his lover, even if it feels like he’s literally going to die from the aching want burning inside of him. Alastor just wants Vox to fuck him already, because this is starting to get rather frustrating.

His thirst for vengeance moved him near the princess Morningstar and her misguided project, risking the overlord his own afterlife for a chance to get revenge over the King of Hell. He knows he's playing a dangerous game and still have something to lose, something he can't lose. He will do whatever it takes to recover what wasn't destroyed and to exact vengeance over the Devil.

Alastor wasn't always a Demon, wasn't always filled with this chaotic rage. In life he felt he was helping people, killing the sickest and demented filth of the world. Upon death he enters Purgatory, but then ascends through the forgiveness of one in heaven and one on earth. He resides in Heaven with his mother, until he unknowingly makes contact with evil itself. Once casted down, another extends her hand. And he becomes a host for her daughters hotel. The King of Hell doesn't trust him until he gets to know him.

Vox is a silent movie star struggling to transition into ‘talkies’ after the massive success of The Jazz Singer. To remedy this, his producer hires an aspiring radio singer, Mr. Alastor Hartfelt, as a vocal instructor. Immediately smitten by Mr. Hartfelt, but completely doomed, Vox tries a new nightclub where he meets a beautiful woman, Alice Starhart, known for her beautiful singing voice, red coat and tight buttons. By some cosmic joke, Alastor and Alice tell him they are brother and sister. Vox finds himself in a love triangle with the brother and sister pair, completely torn between his feelings for them.
Only to find out…they might be closer than brother and sister.
Aka 1920’s au with a genderfluid Alastor and Vox in love with both versions. Loosely inspired by Singin’ in the Rain.
