The core concepts had always seemed fairly simple to Stede: block like that, swing like this, try not to get stabbed. Izzy made it look infinitely more complicated and somehow, too easy. He moved like water, without hesitation.

"And you, Bonnet," Izzy shouted, "you have the fucking gall to tolerate their disobedience as if this ship will just magically run itself! And you have the godforsaken nerve to tell me off for keeping us all afloat, you fucker, you bastard, you goddamn–"
Izzy deflated, like a balloon which had run out of air. His eyes flickered to Ed, something like panic flashing across his face, before he turned back to Stede. Surprisingly, the panic did not lessen.
Stede, arms folded, simply raised an eyebrow. In his best stern voice, the one he'd used whenever Alma was being particularly stubborn, he addressed Izzy.
"Are you done?"
In which Stede accidentally soft-doms Izzy; Edward solves his identity crisis; Izzy gets valued and panics about it; Stede invents aftercare; Ed learns to talk about things and Izzy experiences A Positive EmotionTM.
Meanwhile, the crew only cares about workshops.

Summary
"Stop that", Izzy says, stopping Bonnet in the middle of his pacing.
Bonnet stops in the luxury room he calls his cabin and turns to him.
"Stop what", Bonnet asks then, his face cautious as it never is with Ed. He doesn't like Izzy. That's alright, though, because Bonnet is an idiot.
"Stop saying booty when you try to sound like a pirate", Izzy says with the most arrogant voice he can muster. "You sound like a clown when you do it."Ed, Izzy and Stede teach each other things. Reading, stealing, piano playing. And if they happen to learn how to love each other while doing so, well, that's a nice side-effect.
