He says gently once she leans back into him.
“Hey you.”
Her voice is so comforting and he drags his lips across her skin, silently thanking her for feeling like home.

“So I’m thinking live, love, laugh in cursive,” she says with a wave of her hand through the air.
Rio winces before he can school his reaction, and the girl cracks with a loud laugh.
“Kidding!” She exhales loudly and throws a look over her shoulder.
That’s when Rio spots her.
“It’s not for me,” the girl whispers before turning back to him. “It’s for my sister, she’s letting me pick,” she chuckles and it’s impossible not to pick up on the tone of mischief in her voice.

Bookmarker's Notes
This storyline is really good and it follows what could’ve been in the show really well. It has a great Beth and Rio POV. No angst per se but they definitely have a strong push and pull. It gives us a little glimpse into their Situationship after Rio keeps coming at her at night. One of my faves.
