"Because you don't care about me, Khonshu."Khonshu ran Marc dry with exhaustion and Steven knows he needs to step in. He has the knowledge that Marc doesn’t have, and he has the muscle memory that their body has. As long as he can get the job done, why would Khonshu decline? Why would he say no? When seeing Steven is more interesting in his eyes.
Steven is a protector, and he does what he needs to do. Though he never meant for Marc to wake up when he just arrived back home with barely healed bullet wounds near his spine and multiple scars on his stomach. Panic ensues.
You’d think being liked by a God is a good thing, but not when the God is as vengeful and merciless as the God of the Night Sky is.
