Video games. Homework sheets. Sports. They were competing all the time, always over ten bucks. Both sides swore to have never once gone easy on the other, but if they kept tabs they would find the scores as close to a draw as they would ever be. Nemesis is sure she keeps getting better at anything they tried each other against, so it could only mean that Melinoe was progressing at the exact same pace. Sometimes Nemesis could recognize the bill as the same one she lost the day before yesterday, which was also the same one she won five days ago. The same rectangular sheet of paper, traveling back and forth from one violet purse to the identical other (both from Hecate), until eventually one of them spends it and another would take its place.
