With the sun at its peak, Cooper makes the executive decision to lead them through the shaded ruins of a once bustling city strip instead of taking the much longer, smarter detour around the canyon. Before his fingers can close around the grip of his pistol, they are surrounded. Engulfed by mangey men adorned in old cook wear and football pads.
Lucy's startled eyes find his as she is roughly torn away and swallowed quick by a sea of red and white. Another one of the many factions born out of lust for power over the Mojave.

This is my take on that Fallout 4 quest. The show touched on it a bit with Max, but I couldn't help but think:What if Coop and Lucy happened to stumble across a kid trapped in a fridge on their way to New Vegas?
This follows the timeline after the events of HadSad(Had), but can be read as a stand alone as well. Just please be aware that Lucy and Cooper are already fuckin'.
