In the days of darkness there was the Spilling - a chemical induced heat driving the elven men of the Underdark into hysteria. Reduced to entertainment for the High Matron when they slayed each other in combat for the right to mate. Naturally the Spilling was banned as soon as the Luxon-blessed elves stepped foot into the sun. A new age bringing equality to the population.
Anyway, heat was something only a select few of the Drow population experienced naturally, so it was said. Men fared worse than women, not possibly able to hide the shame, when it was awakened in one's youth. Essek had certainly not been one of the savage ones that succumbed to heat. The thing about plastic chairs is that they weren't a great substitute for an actual bed; the other thing is, Robert can't exactly afford to be picky and even if he 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 the internal debate is still ongoing as to whether or not he deserves a mattress at this current point in his life.

Vax loved getting fucked by Percy. Loved the way Percy would work him open with those long, elegant fingers—the same ones that crafted intricate mechanisms by day now expertly finding every sensitive spot inside him. Loved how Percy's eyes would darken behind his spectacles before he'd remove them carefully, setting them aside just before pressing the blunt, hot length of himself against Vax's entrance. But this—Percy sprawled across rumpled sheets, chest rising and falling with each shallow breath, moonlight catching on the sweat beading across his collarbone and the lean muscles of his abdomen, silver hair tousled against the pillow, eyes half-lidded and vulnerable—this was beyond desire. This was practically art.
Vax is so in love he's nearly blinded by it. Not that he's ever going to say anything.
