Summary
Aziraphale closes his eyes, breathing in a useless but calming breath.
Then he opens them.
All of them.
Perhaps in a human’s brain (provided it didn’t melt right away) it might have interpreted Aziraphale’s eyes opened around himself, floating in space like the motes of dust, or perhaps they wrenched open from his skin, each peering from a different patch of his body but also overlapping one another like an unfinished jigsaw puzzle, or perhaps opened all layered right on top of one another like a bizarre and nauseating stack of glasses overlapping and magnifying.
All of these were kind of true. But they also were kind of wrong.
--
A romantic eldritch body horror fic inspired by Victorian Lover's Eye jewelry. This is rated M due to gore.

Summary
An old family curse brings Dr Aziraphale Fell, professor of Religious History and Folkloric Traditions, into correspondence with Mr Anthony Crowley, whose family is said to be cursed.
Neither anticipates how quickly, or how willingly their letters would begin to matter.
What follows is a slow, intimate exchange about curses, books, loneliness, belonging... and the unexpected ways two lives can begin to align, one letter at a time.
