Poirot jumped, and his hand clasped on my thigh, halfway up, his fingers pressing the seam of my trousers into the soft, sensitive, inner part of my leg.
For some reason every time I recall this case, I pinpoint this as the moment it all started. In reality there are two much better starting points, but I simply can’t drag myself away from the feeling of Poirot’s hand anchored tight around my thigh as we sat close beside each other at the small table of the nightclub, waiting for the performer to begin her act again.
aka, Hastings-POV case, except then it becomes two cases, and Poirot seems to think there are three cases.

He was Bad Boy Jess to a T. But he was acting strange, not at all the tense, volatile boy Dean remembered. He was relaxed. The smile on his face was lazy and welcoming instead of challenging, his eyes were sparkling instead of narrowed. “Still doing that looming thing, huh.”
Dean sees Jess by chance at a gay bar. He leaves and Jess unexpectedly follows. What happens next is beyond anything Dean ever expected out of his old nemesis.
