    "Suguru Geto's dorm room needs to be cleaned out."

    Satoru shrugged. "So clean it."

    "Satoru," Yaga said sternly. Some kind of reprimand hung in the air between them, but it didn't come. Yaga had been very delicate about the situation since it happened, but Satoru was still a teenager and still had all the attitude that came with it.

    "I don't know why you're bothering to tell me this."

    Yaga breathed deeply. "Typically, when we lose students, for whatever reason." The unspoken reasons of quitting, defection, and death were heavily implied. "We either contact the family to retrieve their personal items, or we trash everything. Since Suguru doesn't have a family to contact…"

    "I promise if you don't at least look, you're going to wish you did one day."

    Suguru is gone, leaving Satoru to pick up the pieces he left behind.

    Reeling after her boyfriend dumps her for being "too vanilla" in bed, Iori Utahime enlists the help of one of her best friends, the millionaire playboy Gojo Satoru, to show her how to be more sexually adventurous. In return, she'll pretend to be his girlfriend for a while so his family will stop pestering him to settle down. It's a simple, no strings attached arrangement that's beneficial for both of them.

    Satoru agrees because, after all, what are friends for?

    But the deeper the two become entangled, the more difficult it becomes to separate their friendship and their feelings. They'll have to learn the hard way that there's no such thing as no strings attached when it comes to sex and, ultimately, to love.

    Utahime licked her lips. She’d never tried to phrase it this way. “In my dream I . . . I die.”
    Gojo’s brow furrowed. “And then you wake up?”
    His hand had slid from her hair to her shoulder. Utahime distractedly answered. “Um, no. It happens . . . multiple times.”
    “That’s a crappy dream,” Gojo said. Utahime felt his hand press in where Geto’s had earlier that day . . . or had that been the day before?
    “Uh huh.” She looked into his eyes over his sunglasses. She put every ounce of conviction into her voice as she forced it out. “It feels like I never wake up.”
