It didn't take long for Tamaki to gain a reputation for being eccentric. Founding a high school host club, however, pushed the limits of good taste. Chairman's son or not, he and his beloved host club had an uphill battle to face even before the grande opening. It was why its unparalleled success shocked many.
And with celebrity, of course, came fans.
Upon learning that someone has been making fanart, Tamaki's eccentricity makes him seek out the artist. The artist in question turns out to be Shino Makoto, a loner Class D student who's been secretly fulfilling the Host Club customers' requests. Tamaki is insistent that they welcome Makoto into their club; after all his (alleged twin) sister, Yumeko, already visits them from time to time. While Kyoya has nothing against Makoto drawing fanart for their guests, he just can't see Makoto as host material. It doesn't help that two mischievous hosts in particular seem to have a bone to pick with the Shinos.
Unfortunately for the twins, Tamaki is as stubborn as he is eccentric.
