    Summary

A data heist at Obroa-skai pulls Kleya Marki out of a decade of safe work and back into the field. The signature is Ysanne Isard's. But the deeper she digs, the more she finds: old networks, new conspiracies, and the one ghost she thought she'd made peace with losing.

A canon-compliant reworking of the Thrawn: Legends timeline with Andor sensibilities...and space battles.

    ***

And in her head, the pieces clicked together.

"Tactical," Kleya heard herself say. Her voice sounded distant, strange. "The third Star Destroyer. The new one. Can you put it up on the screen for visual identification?"

"Trying to get a clean read now. There's a lot of interference from the battle, but—" The officer adjusted his controls. "Got it. Magnifying."

The image on the main viewscreen shifted, zooming past the chaos of burning ships and scattered fighters to focus on the new Star Destroyer's hull. Gray durasteel, standard Imperial configuration. But across the ventral surface, in stylized black lines, was a marking no standard ship carried. A seven-headed serpent, coiled and waiting.

Rist inhaled sharply. "The Chimaera." He shook his head. “Impossible.”

    Kleya’s mouth went dry.

    Summary

"We need to do something, or else a lot of bad is going to happen." Fives stressed while Fox resisted the urge to correct him on the use of 'we'. "But you don't believe me,”
“No, not in the slightest," Fox said frankly, "And honestly I'm going to go get my brandy in a second so I can try and forget the fact that I've apparently descended to the point of actually talking to my hallucinations,”

Fox hallucinating the ghost of Fives was not the worst thing that had happened to him. Realising that he may not be hallucination at all was considerably worse though. Assassination plots ensue.
