And so it started. The Inevitable. Mikey and Draken spent the next forty minutes trying to one-up the other in increasingly vulgar and utterly insane would you rather questions.
Takemichi watched the two like a tennis match, turning his head from Mikey to Draken to Mikey to Draken until it became dizzying.
Draken stood up, with a crazed, dark glint in his eyes, shouting, “Would you rather ever be able to orgasm unless Takemitchy is fucking you or uncontrollably orgasm every time you blink?”
Mikey shot back an equally crazed look and a dark grin. “Uh duh, I’d fuck Takemitchy any day, dumbass. That’s easy.” The two Toman founders didn’t even hear Takemichi’s pained scream and loud coughing over the sound of their verbal battle.

Summary
Takemichi, a simple servant living and working at one of the country’s most significant shrine sites, is convinced that he knows how the rest of his life will go: He will do his work around the shrines, assist the priests with menial tasks, and one day he’ll die.
All of that gets thrown into disarray when he encounters a strange noble who won’t leave him alone, and subsequently gains a whole host of peculiar personalities barging into his previously simple life. And for quite a few it seems like there is more to them than meets the eye…
Or: Human Takemichi gets dragged into the Toman polycule, only that all of his newly acquired suitors are either yōkai, kami, or both.

As a consequence of accidentally grabbing Mikey’s hand after the disastrous Battle of Three Deities, Takemichi wakes up in the weirdest of futures. The future where he is Mikey’s prisoner but who’s treated especially nicely with dorayakis to eat and mangas to read. The future where Mikey jokes with him instead of shooting him. The future where Mikey looks, like, really good. What exactly did Takemichi even manage to change during his last failure of a time leap for everything to end up like this!?

Summary
