Vlad Masters never anticipated winning Daniel's favor would be so easy.
Sure, he saved the little brat's life, but he'd put the boy in danger more times than he'd saved him. True, Vlad had also agreed to a truce and stopped threatening to kill Daniel's father and harass his mother, but really, even Vlad knew these were pretty baseline requests.
