'Dont look at it. Dont listen to the whispers, avery'. D3r has underlined those words repeatedly. At the time he didn't understand fully, yes he heard some whispering on occasion, but it was mostly meaningless chatter. Stuff he drowned out by swinging his sword or by the sizzle of cooking. He didn't need to eat, but it was fun. And helped him have more energy- even if he didn't fight in the tournaments anymore.
He hasn't done that in a long time, but still-
'Please Avery. Whatever you do, don't listen to its call.'
