   "Now, Red Bandit. We don't have anything against you. This is all business after all. But your little interferences are getting on our nerves and so, we have to get rid of those, don't we? It's nothing personal, just business."

   Tommy blinks faster at tears. He opens his mouth but his breath hitches. He just needs to say something, anything.

   Let out something and keep going. They'll know his voice, they'll know the second he speaks. He just needs to do it.

   The knife is raised and Tommy shuts his eyes and pulls all the strength in him into this one act.

   "WILBY WAIT!!" He manages to scream, his voice echoes off the walls of the warehouse and it's silent. A beat or two passes and Tommy opens his eyes to see the end of the blade only an inch from his face. Basically stroking his eye.

   It's pulled away quickly and the trio look stunned into silence.
