    On the last leg of the Dawn Treader's eastward voyage, a mysterious gale separates Edmund and Caspian from the ship, delivering them to the shores of a beautiful, if desolate island. It doesn't take long for the once and current kings to realize strange forces are at work in this new place: dreams, apparitions, and an unknown voice singing in a language neither of them can understand.

    Edmund and Caspian resolve to survive together for as long as they need to, until they can find a way home. Though, 'home' becomes a less urgent goal as time passes. After all, there are worse people to be stuck with.
