A small boy dressed all in black stared blankly as an oblong box was lowered 6 feet into the ground. Beside him another boy, dressed in black, clutched his hand tightly. His eyes were red rimmed and glassy. Someone looking in not knowing the situation, might have assumed this was his mother's funeral, but no, it was the child who stood blankly not an ounce of emotion showing on his face.
That was the day, at only 10 years old, Sparrow Avifauna lost all hope of ever receiving any affection from his relatives.

Summary
Jade like to say he lived his life with as little regrets as possible.
He didn't regret giving up his childhood at the age of 14, to become the leader of the Rebellion to protect other children's childhoods.
He didn't regret sacrificing his relationship with his brother for the sake of said Rebellion.He didn't regret saving the 'Fire Demon' as people had nicknamed his friend Row, who was known for killing corrupt Nobles mercileslessly.
He didn't regret taking down the corrupt Noble Society and having all three ruling archdukes killed.
And he most certainly didn't regret dying after drinking the poison that had been meant for Row.
Though he couldn't help but think it was a bit tacky of whoever had planned to poison him, it was Row's engagement party, a bit cruel to poison someone on such a day.But even if Jade lived his life with his few regrets as possible, that didn't mean he had no regrets.
