Itachi is still barely breathing, Zetsu is encouraging him to finish him off, but the strange feeling in his chest says he's missing something. Sasuke decides to save Itachi in order to get answers for all of his questions. But when Itachi is saved with the help of an experimental treatment from Kabuto, he has no intention of telling Sasuke anything. Sasuke sees more and more of his brother peeking through despite the lies and deflections, leaving him unable to separate from Itachi for even a moment. All his feelings bloom based on faith, that complete blind trust that Sasuke used to have as a child that he never lost despite the years of hatred.
