  Summary

  This is essentially just “What if Subaru was a magical girl?” lol. Let the chaos ensue!

  Firstly, YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE SEEN “Gonna be the twintail!” TO READ THIS FIC! The only aspect it borrows is the magical girl bit; everything else is just basically a normal re zero fic save for a frankly absurd amount of references to everything you can dream of. Infact according to some readers this fic is actually better on its own.

  Secondly, This is entirely just me being inspired after seeing chapter 44 of, Variants, Variants, and more variants by EternalWhisper the goat. Do go see that fic for a plethora of great art including a good chunk of Re:Twintail art of the main story, some IF routes, and hell even the custom IF Route (Thank you Eternal!)

  Thirdly, This fic is written with the goal of getting Reader input! If you have an idea just say it and I’ll see if I can fit it in!

  *also do note this is not only the first twintail fandom fic in over a year, but also my first fic ever! :D

  Alright, with all that out the way, let’s get going! hope this isn’t too bad although it probs will be.

  Summary

  Essentially what would happen If in chapter 5 of Re:Twintail Subaru never died and instead ended up saving Emilia somehow, This entire fic (As the title probably gives away) centers around the idea that Subaru somehow ended up as a dragon candidate! To qoute directly from the prompt... "Basically Loop 2 (Re:Twintail loop 2 not cannon loop 2) Subaru (His Reinhard centric loop) somehow survives and also saves Emilia. Cue Reinhard realising he was A dragon candidate when they save Emilia but later learning he was one only when he was tail black leading to some VERY interesting shenanigans of Reinhard trying to get Subaru to behave and using his myriad of divine protections (makeup, fashion, hair dressing, instruction, etc) to try and make Subaru a suitable candidate for the throne!"
