Summary
Ser Arachnuk, Pëytör's home planet, is destroyed in The Great War.
He's alone now, and the Arachnukians that were with him left him alone as well. Terra Firma, which he now knows as Earth, is a strange planet he wants no part of...right up until he starts helping her people, the Terrans. Yes, Pëytör is sad about losing his own home, but he can at the very least protect his new one.
Maybe finding a family along the way isn't so bad, either.

This can be read completely independently, chapter's 1-9 are exactly the same as my original story, chapter 10 is mostly the same with just some minor differences at the end, forward it will be a different story with a happy ending due to popular demand. There is still a healthy dose of angst, jut, yk, it actually ends well. In the end notes of chapter 10 I will post what the differences in that chapter from the original if people coming from the original work don't want to reread it all
