Summary
The Autobots have been quietly meddling in human affairs for over a century. Although most people accept their presence on Earth, there is a vocal minority that remain suspicious of their motives. The situation is made worse by the fact that Prime’s Special Ops are known to disappear people, seemingly at a whim. There are whispers that the Cybertronians are looking for someone… or something.
Sam Witwicky is a college dropout who is beginning to experience the same symptoms of insanity that affected his entire patrilineal line. Plagued by horrifying visions, insomnia, and increasing paranoia, Sam is desperately trying to keep his world from falling apart.
Unfortunately, Sam is about to learn that his luck has already run out.

No one knows what Soap is.
It is, in theory, a simple question and answer. Ghost, however, knows how difficult that simple back-and-forth can become when information has the power to kill - his identity is a secret for the men he fights beside, for his own safety, for the country he serves. A simple question, what’s your name, is a game of mystique for every vampire when it inevitably comes calling; but vampiric name traditions are well known. No one knows his name, but they all know he’s beholden to it, that any who whisper it will call him home. They know why they don’t know his name.
No one knows what Soap is. And no one knows why.
