“I know you’re tired.” Natasha whispered. “And I’ve come to offer you redemption.”
“No!.” he hissed. “I’m not sorry for the blood I spilled, I do not need redemption!"
“Not redemption for your actions.” she shook her head. “Redemption for your heart. For your soul. Balance.”
“Balance.” the dragon’s eyes flared yellow then bright white as his powers surged. “No. Don’t you dare. Don't offer me a witch.”
“A healer, like myself. Young, innocent, fearless. He is the perfect balance to your dragon.”
“No.”
"Wade." Natasha held up the heavy key that would free the dragon from his collar. “I’m not giving you a choice in the matter.”

Summary
Derek knew Stiles wanted to talk about the upcoming trip, but with all of the tension that was radiating off of him, Derek wasn’t getting a very good feeling about what it was Stiles would have to say.
“You said you needed to talk to me about San Francisco?” he prompted.
“I did.” Stiles nodded, shifting in his seat and leaning forward closer to Derek.
Derek lifted his eyebrows expectantly, but waited patiently while Stiles seemed to brace himself for this discussion.
“I can’t go.”

Derek Hale has been falling for Stiles ever since the first time he laid eyes upon him.
