He didn’t know, but the thought alone was enough to put the overwhelming sense of relief, desire, and joy that he felt now into overdrive, because Levi was alive, oh yes, he was definitely, undeniably alive, Erwin thought, warm and solid and breathing in Erwin’s arms, pressed against his body, and kissing him in a manner that left no doubt in Erwin’s mind that he felt the same way too.

There, they got help with their makeup and were provided with a mic. Nothing better to make a first date seem natural and comfortable, Levi thought sardonically. He didn’t want to admit he was nervous, since it was the first time he’d be on a cringe date and actually cringing on national TV.
