Summary
Hannibal takes Will to Minnesota after he eludes custody for the copycat murders, but Will puts the pieces together faster than expected. He confronts Hannibal long before they reach the Hobb’s residence.
Sickness and betrayal have a greater effect on Will than Hannibal expected. He never imagined a future where Will would rather die than face it, and he has a lot to make up for if he wants to remain by his potential mate’s side.

Having this elaborate plan was Hannibal’s own fault. Will would have been just as satisfied with breaking into Hannibal’s house and shooting him. But then Hannibal’s pettiness got in the way.
Now, Will was going to steal Hannibal from Alana, humiliate him and then kill him.
