Summary
In one timeline, Erik was locked away in a plastic prison, Charles is a mess, and neither of them see each other for a decade. In this one, Charles Xavier, unable to sleep and out of serum, reaches out and touches Erik's mind in 1966, and everything changes. Charles can't leave an innocent man in jail, even (especially) if it's Erik.
And Erik won't let Charles destroy himself and his gifts, hiding away from a world that desperately needs him. This time Erik isn't going anywhere, no matter how many times Charles tells him to leave.

Summary
Molly deals with the aftermath.
Frowning, Molly turns to retrieve two mugs from the cupboard. As she slides them from the cupboard she asks, “You think they’ll come back?”
“It isn’t likely they’ve left,” Freddie explains, eyes trailing over Molly’s hands as she sets the mugs down and pours their coffee. “Jack Crawford is looking for them in Florence. Hannibal’s ex-psychiatrist turned up a week ago missing a leg. You tell me what continent they’re on.”
The mug Molly is holding clatters against the counter top loudly, and coffee sloshes everywhere.
“Excuse me?” Molly finds herself laughing, sharp voiced and flabbergasted. She turns again, enough to see Freddie, smirking and staring back at her from the kitchen table.

Summary
What if Merlin gave Arthur different advice and in turn Arthur made a different choice in S5E5: The Disir. Magic would have become accepted in Camelot early in season 5 and changed the entire course of the show.
Magic reveal/Canon end fix/Magic returned to Camelot/In Character/Butterfly effect story/Realistic Alternative Ending.
A season 5 re-written style story as close to what really could have happened in the show as I could get it.
