Not abandoned, just on hiatus due to my full-time job giving me an IT project to build an entire website for my department despite the fact that I do not work in IT. Does this make sense? No. Am I the only full-time employee in my office with a MA in Creative Writing? Yes. Will they be offering me any assistance with this? No.

Summary
It took an embarrassing amount of time for Draco to realise his own mind. In his defence, the last time he had the freedom of romantic interest was 1995–an entire decade ago. For Merlin’s sake, he was trapped in a loveless betrothal with a woman that resented his existence, and he hers, up until June of last year! Dr. Ratta even commended him for his emotional development with everything that happened. And he did it without Occlumency or alcohol or women.
So, the fact that he developed a not-so-convenient interest in Hermione Granger was most definitely a surprise.

The whole thing—the complete lack of care from anyone involved—is starting to really grind on Draco Malfoy.
