There are times where evolution goes in reverse. Examples-dolphins with rear fins for one. What if in the Links family was a Zonai ancestor that wasn’t related to Rauru & Mineru. The Zonai blood reawakens in Link, causing the kingdom to go nuts on the implications. Years later Link pulls the Master Sword & is carted to the castle to learn to be a hero. Zelda finally finding out about the Zonai will do everything she can to learn about living Zonai.
