He was already proud of them!"
Draus knew his child is going to be perfect. How could it be any other way for the product of the union of the heir of the Dragon's clan progenitor and his even more wonderful wife! However, reality paint another picture that will ask him to deal with his expectations to better reconstruct them.

The question took both men by surprise.
"Two men can't get married here, Miri," Rei responded, only half paying attention as he prepped food for the day.
Kazuki walked over to the other man, throwing his arm around his shoulders. He could feel Rei slightly lean into his body.
"I don't think Papa Rei here could even handle me as a husband. I am hard to deal with." He joked.

Kazuki managed to keep from sputtering with laughter, or going wide-eyed with shock, but his smile did take on a certain glassy, frozen quality as his mind ran through and discarded a variety of possible answers. "Ah, well, that's a complicated question," he said at last.

And yet, here he was, standing frozen like a deer in the headlight at the sight of blood. At the sight of Kazuki’s blood, the way he was unconscious on the ground as he continued to bleed from his head following the fall against the edge of the curb, slowly seeping to the ground and staining it red. There was a broken lightbulb, of glasses shattering right next to his hand.
“Papa Rei, call the ambulance,” Miri urged Rei before shifting her attention again to Kazuki, kneeling by his side and roughly shaking him to get him to wake up with increasing panic. “Papa Kazu! Papa Kazu, wake up! This is not funny! Papa Rei, hurry! Ambulance!”

OR: Kazuki had a head injury and lost his memories. Rei and Miri worked together to make him remember, and Kazuki fell in love all over again.
