Summary
Being the outcast of the Seven was never easy. Neither was being judged for his drinking habits, or thought by others to take everything for granted, not deserving his position between the Seven.
But what helped was that they never pronounced those thoughts aloud, so Barbatos could act as if he never noticed the cold stares, the judging looks. That was until he came in late to one of their most important meeting.
So what happens when Barbatos goes missing, and the only sign that he is alive is the slow and steady beating of his gnosis, connected to the other archons'?
Or an AU where the Original Seven are still alive and never died, and judge Barbatos too harshly. But we still love them.
PS: as of the 2.6 update, which is the time I started writing this fanfic, we know nothing of the former archons thus why they might be ooc, but for the sake of the story, we're going to ignore it. I just changed the name of the Dendro Archon to her original one because, for those who will see this in the future, this fanfic wasn't posted when 3.0 came out, so it was easy for me to just put Rukkhadevata instead of Kusanali.

Summary
Dorian was perfectly contempt with his life.
He did not need anyone. He did not need his brother, and much less the one who once called herself his mother.
Dorian was long past the childish thoughts, the longing for love and affection from his family. He stopped caring about what his mother thought of him, what she wanted him to be.
Dorian was living his own, happy life, away from the clutches of a woman who never cared for him, and away from a brother who surely wanted him gone since he grew old enough to understand that Dorian was not liked nor was he appreciated in that house.
And Dorian left, never looking back, never regretting it once. He was happy, truly.
He was lonely, but happy.
So why, why, did it all have to crumble down when he tried for the first time to be nice to someone? Why did the life he tried so hard to build for himself turn upside-down when he was only trying to help a lost kid in the middle of the streets?
Or, how Dorian was forced to face a past he desperately tried to forget, only to be confronted with people he wished he never saw again.

Summary
At many points Illuga had convinced himself that if anyone on this earth was invincible, besides the gods, it was Flins. Flins, who never shied from danger. Flins, who was always so confident, and always correct, when he said there was no danger. Flins, who, by all accounts, was a soul old enough to rival the existence of Nod-Krai itself.
Flins, whose broken body and shattered lantern now lay in a puddle of blood, fresh and seeping, steam rising from it where it met the frigid night air.
Illuga's eyes snapped open.

Summary
“Don’t worry, Master Illuga. I will help you court them.”
Illuga’s eyes grow wide. “You’ll… what?”
Flins should stop talking. He should stop talking right now.
“Am I not your closest comrade? It is befitting of me to help my dear friend find happiness.”
He is going to regret this. A lot.
Flins would do anything for Illuga. Even to help him court someone else.

Summary
For a man raised to want nothing, Flins finds himself wanting Illuga’s company far too easily. A shared gift, a shared night, and the quiet understanding that neither of them is as untouched as they pretend.

Summary
“I seem to have been… in a bit of a kerfuffle,” Illuga said, trying to explain himself even as Flins forced him to sit down, “while on the way to visit you.”
“The Wild Hunt?”
“The Wild Hunt,” Illuga confirmed. “And… ah, I’m so sorry about all the blood on your floor—”
“Please don’t be.”
“—but I’m afraid I’ll have to impose on you a little more,” Illuga scratched his head. His other hand—his non-dominant one, thankfully—had a long, bleeding cut on it that was still oozing blood onto Flins’ floor. “I lost all the supplies I was bringing to you, and now… might I borrow some of your medical supplies? I’ll bring back some more soon.”
Illuga made it his job to look out for Flins—but who’s taking care of who, really?

Summary
Flins always assumed he must have some protection from the elements under that jacket. Most humans require it, don’t they? And the little peeks of collarbone were one thing, but this is—
Illuga’s sweater is entirely backless.
Or: Local fae figures out how to flirt in human, with (mostly) successful results.
