Her parents are at least an hour away though, and Amanda is no more her friend than one of the cheerleaders from school. In lieu of any external comfort, Robin pulls up her legs and rests her chin on her knees and waits. Waits for her parents. Waits for Amanda to come back from the little phone booth outside the hospital. She waits and tries her best not to cry.
