Summary
Cy grabs the door jamb with one hand, bare feet skidding on the floor as he uses his grip to propel himself around the corner with an alarmed glance over his shoulder, puffed tail the last thing whisking out of sight.
The air crackles as the Wolf bursts over the bed after him, shreds of fabric and feathers exploding up as the frame cracks under his powerful legs. His enlarged body surges across the room and he snags the door frame seconds after Cy lets it go, but the massive torque of his greater weight and blasting speed causes the frame to twist and fracture under his strong fingers. His large feet plant against the far wall, digging into the wood as he takes two running steps sideways along it, using it to redirect his momentum to complete the turn.
