Summary
When Jasnah Kholin arrives at the Shattered Plains, she discovers that her family’s situation is much worse than she had thought. Sadeas' betrayal almost cost her uncle his life, and Jasnah still doesn’t trust the young darkeyed bridgeman who saved him. While investigating him, Jasnah must also continue her search for the Oathgate in a race against time to stop the return of the Last Desolation.
